We hold an Annual Golf Tournament as our major fundraiser to benefit our Educational Fund....

Tyler law firm seeks full time Accountant to manage law firm related finances. Law firm is located in downtown Tyler and encompasses a sophisticated and successful practice. Position requires ability to maintain bookkeeping for several entities, run payroll, and manage accounts payable and receivable for the firm. Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks required. Organization, attention to detail, and ability to succeed in a fast paced environment are a must. Desired candidates will have 5+ years experience as an Accountant. CPA not required. Law firm experience a bonus. Compensation will be based on prior work history, experience, and ability. Environment is collegial, dress is casual, and strong emphasis placed on work/life balance. First Time Mentor Program

Please take a moment to read the Young CPA and Emerging Professionals Committee’s proposal to implement a first time mentor program at UTTyler.  The time requirement is minimal and the return on your investment will be invaluable for both you and the mentee if you should choose to volunteer.  Young and “seasoned “CPAs are all welcome and needed!
